what is a ARSS fiber optic cable
1. ARSS cable is loose tube stranded structure. Fibers are positioned into loose tube made of high modulus plastics.
2. All loose tubes are filled with a water-resistant filling compound.
3. These tubes ( fillers) are stranded around a FRP(Fiber Reinforced Plastic) as a non metallic central strength member into a
compact and circular cable core.
4. A water blocking tape cover all the loose tubes /fillers and FRP, it can protect the cable from water coming inside .
5. After the water blocking tape, there are aramid yarn +corrugated steel tape as strength member, and then the cable is completed
with PE or HDPE outer sheath.
6. ARSS cable can be single jacket and double jackets.

1. Low attenuation, low dispersion Proper design and precise excess length control make the cable have outstandingmechanical and environmental performance.
2. Non-metallic construction is convinence for cable laying without cutoff the power systems .
3. High strength aramid yarn as strength member ensures high tensile resistance, small diameter and light weight of the cable, fitting for
different weather conditions and different installation spans.
4. Special AT(anti-tracking) outer sheath (optional) offers good electro-erosion resisting performance.
