Product Description
The ADSS cable adopts a loose tube stranded structure. 250μm fibers are housed in loose tubes made from high-modulus plastic materials, which are filled with water-blocking gel. These tubes, along with filler rods, are helically stranded around a central non-metallic strength core made of fiber reinforced plastic (FRP), forming a compact circular cable structure. The core is then filled with a protective compound and encased in a thin inner polyethylene (PE) sheath. A layer of aramid yarn is applied over the inner sheath to provide additional tensile strength. Finally, a PE or anti-tracking (AT) outer jacket is extruded to complete the cable.

Features
To ensure excellent flexibility, crush resistance, and watertight performance, the cable features full core filling and water-blocking gel within the loose tubes. It offers reliable mechanical strength and stable performance across temperature variations. The loose tubes are made of high-strength, hydrolysis-resistant material, while a specially formulated filling compound provides essential fiber protection. A single FRP rod serves as the central non-metallic strength member.
