12/24/48/96 Core ADSS Outdoor Fiber Optic Cable – Ideal for Aerial Installation
This ADSS (All-Dielectric Self-Supporting) fiber optic cable features a loose tube stranded construction. Each 250μm optical fiber is housed within a loose tube made from high-modulus plastic, filled with a water-blocking gel to ensure moisture resistance.
The tubes and fillers are helically stranded around a central strength member made of FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastic), forming a compact and circular core. The core is then filled with a protective filling compound and encased in a thin polyethylene (PE) inner sheath.
To enhance tensile strength, aramid yarns are uniformly stranded over the inner sheath. Finally, a PE or AT (Anti-Tracking) outer sheath is applied, making the cable suitable for aerial applications and harsh environments.
