Product Description
ADSS cable features a loose tube stranded design. The 250μm fibers are housed in high-modulus plastic tubes filled with water-blocking compound. These tubes and fillers are stranded around a central FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastic) strength member to form a compact, circular core. A thin polyethylene (PE) inner sheath is applied, followed by a layer of aramid yarns for additional tensile strength. Finally, the cable is completed with a PE or AT (anti-tracking) outer sheath.
This cable offers excellent mechanical and thermal performance. Its lightweight and compact design help minimize ice, wind, and structural loads on towers. Reinforced with aramid yarn, it provides high tensile strength and supports spans over 1000 meters, making it ideal for long-distance deployments.
