Product Description

GYTA33 fiber optic cable features a robust structure designed for harsh environments. The 250µm fibers are housed in loose tubes made of high-strength materials, filled with water-blocking gel to protect the fibers. A central metallic strength member provides structural support, and in certain designs, a polyethylene (PE) sheath is extruded over this core. The tubes are helically stranded around the central strength member, with the interstitial spaces filled with water-blocking compounds. An aluminum moisture barrier is applied longitudinally, followed by a PE inner sheath. The cable is armored with a layer of smooth, round steel wires for mechanical protection, and finished with a durable outer polyethylene jacket.
