ADSS (All-Dielectric Self-Supporting) cable is a non-metallic fiber optic cable designed for aerial installation on utility poles and power lines. With its dielectric structure, it can be safely deployed in high-voltage environments while providing reliable self-support without the need for messenger wires. It is a cost-effective alternative to OPGW and OPAC cables.
Structure & Design
This cable adopts a stranded loose tube design with fibers protected in water-blocking gel. A central FRP strength member ensures stability, while aramid yarn layers provide high tensile strength. The outer sheath is available in PE or AT materials, depending on voltage requirements.
